More About Me

I am a 3rd year PhD student in Computer science, Neuroscience and Cognitive science at the University of Colorado,Boulder. My research interests are applied machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing and cognitive neuroscience.


At present, I'm working on three different research problems involving cognitive neuroscience, neuroimaging and natural language processing respectively.

What happens in your brain when you are meditating or listening to music?. I'm using functional neuroimaging to understand mental functions (such as visual processing) that underlie any specific task.

As a teacher, do you use effective discourse strategies to ensure student engagement and rich classroom discussions?. I'm working on a deep learning model to automatically provide feedback on a teacher's effective use of classroom discourse.

Is mindfulness-based relapse prevention an effective treatment method for alcohol use disorder. I'm actively involved in analyzing the data to validate if the data reflect our hypothesis about mindfulness.
